Top track is Jeff Northup's collaboration with Paul
Shortino on
The Kid is Back in Town. The song was also included on Paul
Shortino's album "Back on Track". Jeff Northrup has a unique playing style and his playing can also be heard on the forthcoming
XYZ release.
XYZ have reformed with Jeff Northrup as lead guitarist and Sean McNabb handling the bass playing on the album. The rough mix of
Tango is sounding pretty groovy and I expect a great comeback album.
Biloxi seem unaffected by their 9-year album break.
Biloxi picks up where they left with their album "Let the Games Begin". Ignition is a Swedish newcomer band and the pre-taste
Fire with Fire sounds promising for the forthcoming album. Moreover, there are respectable tracks from Loud & Clear,
Token and Crystal Blue.
This compilation gives a great overview of the MTM artists. If you want to be updated on the Melodic/Hard Rock scene this compilation is perfect. If you dig some of the artists then remember to buy the full albums.
