Falconer - Northwind
Mathias Blad has returned! This one is slowly growing and shows great potential.

Queen - The Game
This album has taken up most of my spare time lately. Varied and intriguing in every way. "Play the game" opens the album on a positive adventurous note while the heartbreaking closer "Save Me" makes the album come full circle. "Sail away sweet sister" is another favourite.

Queen - News of the World
I absolutely love the original version of "Spread Your Wings". It is on a whole different level compared to Blind Guardian's version. I'm still getting into the rest of the album, which is both varied and interesting and includes the forever immortal "We are the Champions".

Allen Lande - The Battle
This one is not losing its grip.

Street Talk - V
The year's best melodic rock album.

Vicious Rumors - Warball
Heavy Metal to the bone.

Manowar - The Sons of Odin
An interesting and very promising evolution. The DVD version is well worth getting, if only to hear my words of wisdom about that most excellent band, Manowar :)

Cheap Trick - Rockford
An excellent album that still gets me in a good mood every time I hear it.

White Lion - Pride, Big Game & Mane Attraction
These three strong albums have provided some great warm up for the concert at Pumpehuset last Saturday (Both at home and at the Libelle pub in Copenhagen before the show). White Lion delivered a more than satisfying two hour show, filled with energy, great performances and a ton of classic songs. Gotta get Fight to Survive soon.

To/Die/For - Wounds wide open
After three listens the album started to grow fast. The band keeps evolving. This time the guitars are even more in front and the music lacks some of the distinct keyboard elements that captivated me on Jaded, but the album is still a great one. "Like Never before" is a personal favorite so far. Fantastic song.

Poisonblack - Lust stained despair
Another melancholy stained release is just right for both the weather and the general mood at the moment. Solid album.

Heavenly - Virus
Power Metal fans in need of a fix should get this very satisfying release.
