Scamp - re-draft (demo)
To me Scamp is the most promising Danish metal bands right now. Their style can be defined as Meshuggah meets Mnemic meets Chimaira meets Killswitch Engage, and with this three track demo they have begun to make a name of themselves. Super aggressive tight riffs and great music, played by super musicians.

A.C.T - Last Epic
With the Swedish proggers back in the studio, I have to pacify myself until their next album is out. I have chosen to do so by checking back in with Last Epic, to recapture the joy I felt the first time I put this great album on!

Die - Relentless Pain (demo)
With this 3 track demo, your friendly neighbourhood RevelationZ staff member, Tajs' and band Die, have let world know that they mean business. So if you are into well played and very good death metal a la Morbid Angel, make sure you make your way to the media section and down load Relentless Pain.

Winger - The Very Best of Winger
There's just no denying it, Kip Winger is a great songwriter, and with Winger he created and recorded some truly great tunes. Sure the ones you remember are too nice and too girlie, and if you ask yourself which songs is it that you remember? Most can only name two: Headed for a Heartbreak and Miles Away, the girlie MTV hits, both great tracks, but Winger is so much more than hits for the girlfriend. Also the great guitar work by Reb Beach makes every Winger album worth your while.

Alex Skolnick Trio - Transformation
Great jazz by an old childhood metal hero!

Mötley Crüe - Girls, Girls, Girls
The opener Wilde Side alone is worth getting this album!! The rest isn't too bad either.

G3 - Live in Japan (dvd)
Once again Joe Satriani puts his head under the axe, and once again he leaves the stage destroyed and headless. Satch must be the biggest masochist, don't get me wrong Satriani is a fine rock guitarist, but he's just not in the league of Vai or Petrucci, well he's not in the league of any of the solo guitarists that Satch has brought with him on the any of G3 tours (dare I mention his name?? YJM.).

Rock Star - Music from the Motion Picture Rock Star
Well I got this for the 5 Steel Dragon originals: Livin' the Life, We All Die Young, Blood Pollution, Stand Up and Wasted Generation and it was worth it. Great movie with some great tunes played by some hailed metal heroes! But it's the vocals done by Jeff Scott Soto and Mike Matijevic that take the real price on this album!

Chimaira - The Impossibility of Reason
Chimaira's second outing is not as good as their third and latest self titled album, but lets face not very much is, and The Impossibility of Reason is still a very good album!
