Towers of London - Blood Sweat and Tears
Hmmm. What's the buzz about this band? I like the band but haven't made my mind up if they really are a standout band. "Blood Sweat and Tears" needs more playing time, so in the future lookout for a review

Thin Lizzy - Fighting
After a recent trip to Dublin I rediscovered Thin Lizzy´s impact on the Rock scene and Dublin in particular. Phil Lynott is a true legend and I partied at the Bruxelles bar (where the Phil Lynott statue is) on the Phil's birthday. RIP.

Rory Gallagher - Irish Tour
The blues guitarist Rory Gallagher is another of Dublin's proud heroes. A great album packed with Blues Rock and an artist I certainly will discover more

Winger - Pull
Winger is back with a new album to be released next month. "Pull" is such a great album and so much better than the Winger album that charted, so a very anticipated comeback.

New York Dolls - One Day it will please us even to remember this
Classic band - new album, read review.

Enuff Z'Nuff - Extended version
Enuff Z'Nuff live from 1991, which is very alike their Live album than got released in 1997. Derek Frigo is once again smoking and Donnie Vie's unique voice in topform. The live version of "Let it Go" is brilliant

UFO - The Monkey Puzzle
UFO is back. Phil Mogg's sounds so great and Vinnie Moore once again impresses me. The album keeps growing - a review to follow.

Hardcore Superstar - Hardcore Superstar
The album got a revival prior to Sweden Rock festival and after Hardcore Superstar's convincing show at the festival this CD has been permanent in my CD player for months.

Babylon Bombs - Doin You Nasty
Been working on an article on the Swedish Glam and Sleaze scene for ages but impossible to wrap up since I always discover new Swedish bands that play this style. Earlier it was L.A. which fostered all the great bands but now Sweden has taken over. The song Proud is among the best songs of the year.

Rolling Stones - A Bigger Bang
Just seen these legends live for the first time. WOW - they still got so much to offer and their latest album is superb. Streets of Love was so great live.

Babylon A.D. - Nothing Sacred
Timeless hard rock

I <3 Winger's "Pull". What an underrated release that got no respect at all. Its an angry, aggressive disc... I dont think that fans of the first two albums were open enough for the new direction.. plus Winger was on the shitlist by this time too. Its such a shame what they had to go through. Great album though.

Winger's PULL was a hell of a release and is the best of the three. As a matter of fact, I realy did not care much for the previous two releases. Down Incognito is my fav on this release (definately a song to be turned up hitting the highway). Blind Revelution, Juckyard Dog and Like A Ritual are also major standouts for me. Lots of attitude and solid song writing. Should be interesting to see what they will deliver after all these years.

I liked the first two Winger discs. They werent groundbreaking by any means, but were good examples of melodic hair metal with an intellegent edge at times. I agree that Down Icognito was awesome, probably my favorite Winger tune. The Spell I'm Under was a haunting ballad too.. ah makes me wanna dig this out again.
