The Who - Live at Isle of Wight festival 1970 (2-CD)
It's an amazing performance. Daltrey sings his ass off and Pete Townsend's guitar is raw and in your face. The rhythm section is tight and especially Keith Moon's drumming finally made me recognize The Who as a fantastic live band.
Glenn Hughes - Songs in the Key of Rock
Glenn's incredible voice accompanied by a bunch of really strong songs.
Guns N' Roses - Appetite for Destruction
Warming up for the Adler's Appetite gig in London. This is a classic album and among my all time favorite albums.
UFO - Walk on Water
I have definitely been in UFO mode the last couple of months. "Walk on Water" marked the reunion of the successful line up with Michael Schenker and it's great record with solid songs penned by Phil Mogg and Michael Schenker.
Hardcore Superstar - Hardcore Superstar
Still getting plenty of playing time. A brilliant sleaze album with lots of attitude.
Stryper - Reborn
Sweden Rock festival 2006 here we come.

Comments: 245 | | Weird, I've been running through "Walk On Water" again recently too, after not hearing it for about six/seven years. "Venus" still hasn't lost its magic has it?

Comment by Michael, RevelationZ (Anonymous) - Tuesday, January 17, 2006 | Venus still sounds excellent. Stopped By a Bullet of Love is another one that still holds up. An amazing album that stands the test of time - Expect a full review of the Walk on Water re-issue soon |

Comments: 245 | | I wasn't aware there was a reissue. I am looking forward to reading the review. Remembering back, it was so exciting when Schenker/Mogg got back together. The album seemed fresh and had alot of energy that some of the UFO stuff afterwards lacked.
