Angel Dust. Enlighten The Darkness Sombre, slightly progressive and emotionally charged Power Metal. Angel Dust has carved out a sub genre of their own, offering exciting and unpredictable music with depth and charisma. Brother Firetribe. False Metal It's retro, funny and catchy. The keyboard work is so deliciously overdone (the beginning of One Single Breath is to die for) and the drive very effective. A very cool disc. Cage. Hell Destroyer A most metallic and intense combination of Heavy and Power Metal. Crazy Lixx. Loud Minority Classic Hard Rock with massive choruses and a forceful drive. Not everything falls into place but a very good debut. Everon. North Progressive Rock/Metal unit Everon is back after 6 years with a really succesful album. The verse sections are extremely well fitted the harmonious flow of the songs. Sonata Arctica. Unia Keeps growing and getting better. I really like they went for something this challenging and non-accessible, the melodies still hide in here and the structures are really vast and impressive. A very mature and intriguing piece. Street Talk. Collaboration The delightful debut from a most excellent band. Göran Edman and Kristian Andren more or less split the vocal duties and both do a splendid job. Melodic overload. The Lec Zorn Project. It Began In The Underground A solid collection of melodic goodies. The production is a bit thin and I miss more really exciting tracks but Eternal Flame burns right through. Voices Of Rock. MMVII Interesting project with 10 songs coupled with 10 different vocalists. The production is forceful and even tough some tracks are just good, the album maintains a coherent and successful feel. China In Your Hands featuring Göran Edman is the ultimate highlight for me, a completely overwhelming wonder of a song. Wildkard. Megalomania A really refreshing encounter offering great catchy Hard Rock and AOR in a successful mix between melodic ear candy and a tougher edge. Soaring vocals, brilliant keys and by all means brilliant harmonies.
