A-Ha. Headlines and Deadlines. The Hits Of A-Ha
It's so so with the "hits" but you can't take away the brilliance of Take On Me, the original is great and Vision Divine's cover version is also fantastic.

Bad Company. Holy Water
Smooth and comfortable Rock, not that exciting but worth a listen.

Bryan Adams. Reckless
Just classic Rock tunes, melodic and to the point.

Fleetwood Mac. The Very Best Of
I don't find that many songs really interesting but I simply can't resist gems like Seven Wonders and Everywhere.

Gamma Ray. To The Metal (CD + DVD)
I'm sorry but I just can't get excited about this. It's decent Metal with some experimenting elements (which is alright), biggest problem is the lack of memorable ideas. The DVD documentary gives a thorough insight into the recording process, but it's too long and repetitive.

Hugo. Hugo
A warm and sensitive voice in the centre of some rich AOR tunes. Very good stuff.

Last Autum's Dream. Touch Of Heaven
Some comfortable moods but it lacks a bit of spark.

Marillion. Clutching At Straws (2 CD)
Moody and elegant. Only wish it had a few more songs in the same league as... let's say Incommunicado.

Metallica. Metallica
The impact from those drums is just incredible and the riffs, man do they rip.

Pain Of Salvation. The Perfect Element - Part 1
Innovative, thought provoking and quite a challenge. Reconciliation is simply awesome.

Reckless Love. Reckless Love
A sizzling Sleaze/Hard Rock debut. Wild Touch with its huge drive, Sex with that thick sensual tension and the sugar rush that is Beautiful Bomb. Is it a bit too much? Yeah... does it matter, no not really.

Rock Sugar. Reimaginator
The idea of mixing up different songs from different genres is a risky deal but the result is excellent and extremely fun to listen to. Journey, Metallica, Madonna, Bon Jovi, AC/DC, Loverboy, Judas Priest in one big rocking melting pot.

Treat. Dreamhunter
Great Melodic Rock, World Of Promises is such an excellent song.

Treat. Coup De Grace
Album of the year until now, it's really that amazing. No Way Without You, All For Love, Paper Tiger, We Own The Night...and the list continues. Simply brilliant. Review on its way.

Wig Wam. Wig Wamania
Party Rock balancing on the edge of overdoing it, but they surely crank it up effectively... cheers.

Bad Company. Holy Water. My absolute favourite Brian Howe album. Slick, melodic arena rock. One of Terry Thomas's early productions, if my memory serves me well.

Hi Tommy!

Incommunicado was the commercial hit of this album but in my opinion this record have better songs.
I don´t know how well you know this band, but the true spirit of Marillion (Fish days) isn't in the "pop" rhythm of Incommunicado.

Clutching at Straws is an absolute classic ;)

One of the best things about the album is the sense of coherency but I still love the free-flowing vibe in that song though :)
