Ambition. Ambition
This is just a brilliant album, being both sweepingly uplifting, moody and with a soulful character. The bass execution is refreshingly creative and the vocals immensely strong. An AOR must have.

Bon Jovi. This Left Feels Right (CD+DVD)

When you rearrange something this much it will certainly offer a new perspective on some old gems. Some songs work out very dynamically, others feels too far away from their natural habitat.

Bon Jovi. 100.000.000 Bon Jovi Fans Can't Be Wrong
50 songs, most of newer date, no covers, just something that never made it onto an album.
The quality is varied, some demo version quality, but also many cool songs and ideas to enjoy here.
The DVD offers some fun nostalgic footage, but hasn't got that much you couldn't read in the booklet (is mine the only one that fell completely apart after 2 minutes of reading?), and why are only some songs given a comment and none the year of making.

Bon Jovi. The Crush Tour (DVD)
A pretty energetic show with lots of songs you wouldn't have expected. Just Older rocks big time and is still a personal favourite but unfortunately the drums aren't loud enough.

Bon Jovi. Lost Highway: The Concert. (DVD)
Interesting hearing the whole album from start to finish, especially Any Other Day with a massive jam sections lights up. Only wish they had played a few more classics at the end. Counting down to June 19th.

Foreigner. 4 (Remastered)
There is just something about this disc; it's so well put together, given a delicious sound, nice balance between moods and a unmistakably strong and melodic force pushing it forwards.

Dreamtone & Iris Mavraki's Neverland. Reversing Time
Sombre, yet catchy. A pretty good effort and definitely a fresh breath of air in the Symphonic Metal sphere, just lacking that something to bind the whole thing closer together.

Hellfueled. Memories In Black
Trashy, modern and by all means intense. Quite good effort.

Iron Maiden. A Matter Of Life And Death
An ambitious project, perhaps too much so, it's like some of the fun is lost in the vast progressive structures. Still a tight and musically challenging journey with Brighter Than A Thousand Suns as a grand opus that keeps evolving.

King's X. Dogman
Groovy and strangely catchy Rock hard to put a label on. It just works.

Loverboy. Get Lucky (25 Anniversary Edition)
Melodic ear-candy from start to finish. Jump is just irrespirable uncanny.

Steel Attack. Carpe DiEnd
Decent Power Metal without leaving a lasting impression.

Street Talk. Transition
Finally managed to get a hold of this, their second album. Need Someone is like sent from heaven with background choruses so soothingly mixed in.
A high standard album but not quite up there with the three other ones.
Few other singers would get away with the baaa-ba-ba-ba-chrous in Energizer Bunny but here... you just have to surrender to its charm.

Vanden Plas. Beyond Daylight
Got a lot of memories attached to this amazingly spiritual album. Günter Werno's key atmospheres are so phenomenally captivating. When pressing play it's like a secret door of magic and wonders slowly opens and drags you in.

Virgin Steele. Noble Savage (2008 remastered)
The sound of these two re-remastered editions is once again an improvement, nice balance with a crisp crust. With songs like the epically haunting Angel Of Light and the fierce rocker I'm On Fire this album is a Metal classic.
The bonustracks consist of two different mixes of Fight Tooth And Nail and Noble Savage, intense and interesting stuff.

Virgin Steele. Age Of Consent (2008 remastered)
A personal Virgin Steele favourite. It's so comprehensive, epic and heartfelt. The Burning Of Rome is one of the greatest opuses ever put together and Cry Forever one of the most stirring ballads, the passion created here burns right to the core of your soul.
Bonustracks consist of an old vivid and heavy VS track called The Curse and a groovy Screaming For Vengeance Judas Priest cover.
