Allen Lande - The Battle
Still going strong.

Street Talk - V
After the first listen I thought the music was just too. well, sweet. But after giving it a few more chances the album really opened up and has become the most played album of the month. Fantastic melodic rock with enchantingly smooth vocals. I have been humming several of these earhangers over the past few weeks. Don't Believe, Responsible, Grounhog Day, If I could and Sniper are absolute favourites. If you like this one also check out Nelson's "Because they can".

Vicious Rumors - Warball
Vicious Rumors keep on going strong. This one brings back memories of Digital Dictator. It's so great to hear the band still playing this kind of music. Look out for a full review soon.

Heavenly - Virus
Heavenly continue their super melodic approach to Power Metal, this time even more Gamma Ray inspired than earlier. Immediately catchy, but it will be interesting to see how long this one holds up. Heavenly fans can buy this one blindly.

Jon Oliva's Pain - Maniacal Renderings
Good solid effort. It takes time to evolve but it's getting better with each listen. It is worth getting the tin edition to hear the touching bonus track "Only You".

Iron Maiden - A Matter of Life and Death
With each listen this one is growing steadily. A very pleasant surprise. It surpasses their previous two albums, that is for sure. I haven't finished discovering the potential of this one yet. The album sounds fresh and interesting. Only "Out of the shadows" reminds me strongly of "Wasting Love" from Fear of the dark.

Manowar - The Sons of Odin (EP)
Two live songs and three new ones make this EP an absolute must for any Manowar fan who wants to get a glimpse of the forthcoming album. Read the full review here.

Chopin - Music for Piano
Chopin is a favourite composer of mine and I happened to dig out this album one day when I just wanted to sit back and relax. It turned into a great revival and I'm still amazed at the emotions that can be contained in music like this.

Slayer - South of Heaven
The opening riff to South of Heaven was quite a revelation when I first heard it on the double live album Decade of Aggression back in the early nineties. Now I finally have the album.

Misfits - Earth A.D.
Just started listening to this one and I dig it so far. One word description: Smashing!
