It's been a hectic summer with 4 festivals and two major concerts (Bon Jovi and Iron Maiden) in three months. I missed last month's playlist and haven't had time to listen to a whole lot of new music these past months. Now things are starting to settle down and I will be back in reviewing mode soon.
Falconer - Among Beggars and Thieves (Folk Metal)First impression is very promising, but three songs in Swedish feel like too much.
Sabaton - The Art of War (Power Metal)Well produced album with several standout songs but I miss more raw power and some surprises.

Austrian Death Machine - Total Brutal (Thrash with a twist)Tim Lambesis does a very funny Arnold impersonation. A thrash metal tribute to the action hero.
Gotthard - Domino Effect (Hard Rock)Great album but some of the later tracks don't live up to the superb beginning of the album.
Brother Firetribe - Heart full of fire (Symphonic AOR)Quickly growing into quite a gem of melodic goodness.
