This band drives me insane. I truly cannot stand this band and it's sad because they band is extremely talented, Drummer Daniel Adair is one of the most technical and talented drummers around, You should check out his work with Dave Martone. The thing about Nickelback that drives me insane is their knack for writing radio friendly material and their lyrics are extremely bad. Sorry but I have to give this album a 4/10

10/10 I love every song on this album "Della Brown" is chilling it's so good!....Although I do disagree about the "Promised Land" which to me is there last solid effort that album is a 10/10 for me and Mindcrime is more than a 10/10 brilliant!!!

True I agree with you, but the fact is I don't think this is a good album, it's a little above average. But nothing in this album truly holds my attention and I know I won't be listening to this album within a few months and after that i may never listen to it again, unless for nostalgia!....I refer to the older catalog because they are timeless to me and will always be played over and over again!.....And I never expect music to stand still, I love music that evolves and changes...just can't get into this album!!!

This album is alot better than "The New Territory" but honestly for myself I still don't like it. I've tried to separate the Harnell era from the Mills era and maybe I still can't. This is not a great ablum in my estimation, But it got me listening to the classics of TNT and "Realized Fantasies" is a perfect 10.....This album I'd give a 5.5

I agree I love this album, it's actually one of there best albums ever, well Tesla is one band I believe don't have a bad album and this album is truly a classic,, it combines all the greatest elements of Tesla with a nice modern edge!....9/10

I agree with your review except Jon's voice does get annoying to me, But Criss' guitar playing is just magic even in this raw form, you can tell there is something really special about savatage from this album and they progressed hugely over the years, I like that about Savatage & Fates Warning that there is a progression in every album to get the greatness and musical genius' both bands have become!...6/10

Your review is excellent, one thing that disturbs me about the album is the drumming, I don't like the sound of the drums and Lars just isn't that good. I loved his drumming on And Justice For All and all Metallica albums earlier than the Justice release but there is so much more he could do but is content with more simple beats! a 6.5/10 for me also

I got the DVD and I really like it, I'm the one who really dissed the new album of the Crue, and I still cannot stand the new album but this DVd is great and Mick Mars is a highly underrated guitar player he sounds great on here...........8/10

Well I actually give this album a 9.9 rating, the only reason this album is not a 10 is because of the horrible production but the songs are top notch with stellar musicianship, this is my favorite Metallica album!....Metallica should remaster this album and redo the bass parts!

You still may not like "Carved In Stone" because it is extremely different for Vince but for some reason I absolutely love it and still listen to it on a regular basis!...And yes the song "The Edge" is my favorite song from "Exposed" excellent guitar work in that song!!!!!!!!!

This is an amazing piece of work, the story line, the music, the lyrics and vocals are extremely superb. Tommy your review of this album is incredible, the only thing I disagree with is the 9/10 rating for me it's a perfect 10/10.......This album is better than words can explain, if there are people reading this review that never heard this album stop reading and get this album NOW and enjoy the beauty of Savatage.......Fans of Rush, Dream Theater, Pink Floyd, Fates Warning...will love this album!

Sixx A.M. is amazing it's a story album of Nikki Sixx's life, the feeling of the album is great, it's honestly one of the best works in Nikki's excellent career......I agree with you that hopefully this album is a springboard to better things to come, I feel they just need to forget about how they use to sound and write good songs!...Also speaking of Vince Neil if you haven't checked out his solo album "Carved In Stone" you should seek that one out, that's one of my favorite albums of all time...alot of Crue fans don't like that album because it's very different style of hard rock music, but I love it!

This is the first album I listened to where I noticed the difference betweeen bands that I was listening to at the time KISS, Motley Crue, etc..., This is the album that made me notice musicianship at a top notch level, and the songs were just so well written and had all the feeling in the world......."I Will Remember" was and is my favorite slow song of all time.........Geoff Tate's vocals are just incredible!......This album is a perfect 10/10

I've tried to like this album and I still honestly cannot stand this album, And Alanna I'm sorry but the thing that irks me about this album is Vince's vocals, I sincerely think his vocals are weak and to nasaly, I grew up on the Crue and this album is not there finest, I do agree the title track is the best but I'm still not a fan. It's sad because this album actually for Tommy anyways is a good drumming album by far Tommy's best drumming on any Crue album (Except for the Crue album with Corabi on vocals.......which is a great album)

Alanna, I think you are correct, everywhere I read this album gets amazing reviews which irks me, because I feel there hearing something I'm not, Shout At The Devil is maybe the greatest hard rock album ever made in my mind, and I always have to compare any Crue album to that release and this is nowhere near that, and Vince's vocals are just not there anymore, and I feel they are trying to hard to recapture there previous works!.......Fans of the Crue do yourself a favor and spend your money on Sixx A.M. , that is an amazing album!!!!

This album is amazing and is by far the best album featuring John Arch, "Guardian" is one of the best songs ever created in the world of music. This is the perfect bridge album frrom what there earlier work that was thrash metal with melody this album is the first step inot the progressive rock relam in which the band would excel and set extremely high standards in the world of progressive rock. I love this album and i love John Arch's vocals..........9.5/10

This album is amazing, and despite sadwings saying this album has no soul (What in the world is sadwings thinking???????????????), This album honestly has everything, top of the line musicianship, amazing vocals that are filled with emotion and control......It's strange to say but you give the album a 9.5/10 and that's an unbelievable rating, but for this album that's a disappointing rating this album is a perfect 10/10, I get chills everytime I listen to this album......Dream Theater deserves all their success!!....Mike, Henk, Little Drummer Boy have very good comments!

I'm more of a fan of Tim Owens vocals but on the downside, I haven't been impressed with the music and lyrics as much as I was when Barlow was the vocalist.....The songs are missing something, maybe Barlow is that missing something!!!!!!!........7/10

I have to admit this is a great album, I'm not sure if alot of Motley Crue will like this as Motley Crue's music is blunt and made for partying, this is totally opposite this is emotionally charged music that let's you into Nikki Sixx life!....Nikki is one of the smartest musicians of all-time, Think about it when he as in the band London (pre-Crue) he didn't even really know how to play bass and keep timing but he knew deep inside he was destined to be part of rock and roll history.....I grew up loving Nikki Sixx and this is a great album and like the review says it has a timeless quality to it!.......8.5/10

I'm not a big fan of David Lee Roth's voice but somehow David always surrounds himself with top notch musicians, And of course I believe the greatest influential guitarist of all-time Eddie Van Halen.....And i do agree the best Van Halen albums are I & II, this album is perhaps Eddie's best guitar playing album......8/10 for me would be a 10 if Roth was not on it!

Faith No More is maybe the most original fantastic band ever assembled, and I really don't care for greatest hits C.D.'s, and I would have choosen an entire different song list!.......I can't rate this album because if your a Faith No More fan forget the greatest hits crap and listen to their C.D. catalogue beginning to end and then you'll realize how brilliant this band is!

Michele Luppi kind of reminds me of Michael Sweet of Stryper when he goes for his mid-range and higher notes....For fans of true progressive rock that tend to shy away from power metal, I urge you to pick this album up , Yes this is power metal with alot of progressive moments but the drumming is nothing short of stellar, perhaps one the best drumming I've heard in the power metal genre......I give this album a 9/10

This is the last good Metallica album made in my estimation, This album was the start of a more commercial direction but this album is a 10/10, I love every single song...Great lyrics, melody, heaviness, and great musicianship!.....And while yes this band has sold out, we cannot forget how once they were an amazing band, it almost seems as if these days they are trying to hard to be heavy again because St. Anger was horrible with poor production.....But this album is amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This album is a 10/10 , it's perfect, as is almost any Fates Warning album with Mark Zonder drumming (Best drummer of all-time)....Every song is masterful in it's own way , I also love the guitar tone on this album....and as always vocal god Ray Alder shines throughout the album , heartfelt lyrics throughout the album..."Life In Still Water" & "The 11th Hour" are a couple of the best songs every made in the history of music in my opinion!

I like any type, style of music that is good, I don't care if it's too commercial, heavey, political, as long as it connects with me in some way....Progressive music like Dream Theater, Fates Warning, Savatage, Devin Townsend are my tops but any music that moves me, I never liked Green Day until this album, This album is very good, with excellent melodies and lyrics & I can listen to every single song on the labum, they made a great album with no filler tracks.........7/10....and to Matt they are no Steve Vai.....VaiRules!!

This is by far Sebastian's best work , and that's saying alot because the Skid Row albums are amazing....But it's great to hear his voice in a porgressive setting , his voice is totally built for this type of music , his vocals are controlled , powerful , and are drenched with emotion , this album is a perfect 10/10...and I agree is Henning Pauli is a a pure fucking genius , most likely the greatest underrated musician ever!....I love the first Frameshift album "Unweaving the Rainbow" with my all time favorite vocalist James LaBrie(Dream Theater)and to be truthful this album with Sebastian is much better and more intense!

In response to Komnenos , It's not that Rhino is showing of his skills (Which he is!) but it fits the song perfectly , it supposed to represent men fighting in war!......And Rhino had gotten the position because he's friends with Manowar's past/current drummer Scott Columbus.....Also I agree "Sign of the Hammer" is very underrated!

I've been listening to Danger Danger all day!!!...I love this band , I listen to them on a regular basis for over the past 18 years!!......This live album is great , And I usually HATE live albums , but it's really cool to hear Paul Laine's vocals on the Ted Poley era material and Laine's vocals are completely flawless , he's a very underrated vocalist....7.5/10

Brian , I'm not sure if you are in a minority I've searched other sites on the web and alot of them give this album a good review , I honestly love when bands experiment , and I think TNT did that with Tony Harnell with "Firefly" and "Transistor" both of in my opinion are very good albums , but I totally agree with Alanna the album is almost a joke , and it's a shame becasue yes I'm a Tony Harnell fan but Tony Mills himself is amazing and I think they should have utilized his vocals more instead of having him double alot of his vocals within the verses and instead of showcasing his vocals it seems like the put an emphasis on his accent , which I found to be very annoying!!!....Also besides "Intuition" my favorite albums from TNT are "Realized Fantasies" & "My Religion" both of which came out after "Intuition"

First off this is more a Taime Downe solo project or Newlydeads project , moreso than a Faster Pussycat album and as a result of that this album severly suffers!....I can't stand the techno , industrial vibe and Taime what the heck is with the distorted vocals it take so much away from your voice (Taime might not be the most talented vocalists but he has one of the coolest most original vocals ever!!!)....If your a fan of Faster Pussycat don't waste your money on this album.....1/10

Wow!...I was just going throught the archives here and I can't believe someon reviewed Korn!!..Am 8/10 is absurd for this album , their 1st album I would give an 8/10 it was very original with amazing drumming!.....This album however finds Korn backed into a corner , the repetiveness of bass and drums is annoying....and the commercial power pop song "Coming Undone" is one of the most god awful songs I've ever heard......This album is a 1/10

I tried to give this album a fair shake , because I'm a Tony Harnell fan.....Tony Mills is a fantastic vocalsit but this album is horrible , I really trully do not like any song on this album , some of the songs are so corny , I can't believe I'm listening to TNT......2/10

I agree the Redemption disc is far better , In fact Redemption's new disc is actually one of my favorite albums ever made , I think it's flawless...10/10....and yes slavior is a little to radio friendly for myself also but I do like it!

Alanna , Alanna....My sweet Alanna , Shatter has no rap vocals at all......It's one thing not to like the song but in all honesty there is no rap in that song....But I will say there is such a radio friendly vibe to this album , that fans of Zonder will not like what they hear , Although they will still love his drumming!....I like that you stick to your guns about not liking it but it is a damn good radio friendly type of album....Way better than Bizkit , Linkin' Park , & Nickelback!!!

To the guy rh that wrote a review , You're not that smart of a guy 1st off there is absolutely nothing rap about this ablum , 2nd when Belladonna used to be in the band (Which he is again now) they used to do rap songs with him , Not John Bush....and this is by far there best album....and I'm not a fan of Limp bizkit but you should learn how to spell there name correctly if you are gonna compare them to Anthrax!

I usually don't care for live albums , and I'ld still prefer this in DVD form , but it's excellent with an excellent song list , and I totally agree Ron Taylor sounds amazing (I wish he was still the vocalist for the Axe!)& Steve Blaze in my opinion the greatest underrated guitar player of all time (along with King's X Ty Tabor)....A very good review except I like the "Psychoschizophrenia" songs moreso!.8.5/10

What the hell is with this review???.......There is nothing rap about this album or nor is there any type of Limp Bizkit , Linkin Park , Nickelback type of feel on this album.......Although I do agree it is very radio friendly (which isn't a bad thing).....Mark Zonder (x-FATES WARNING) his drumming shines on this album even within a pure rock setting.....If you are a fan of Mark Zonder and are expecting a progressive album , this is not progressive at all , but he still does progressive style drumming throughout the album , & Greg Analla x-TRIBE OF GYPSIES) is a very good vocalsit with a unique voice , it's very rock oriented with a reggae type of feel (I personally think his vocals are great!)

I totally disagree with this review , Yes this album is extremely different from their previous efforts....I actually think this is there best effort and this is one of my favorite albums ever it's not just progressive to be progressive!......This album is like taking Faith No More and mixing them with Dream Theater.....This is a classic album , Sometimes a change in a different direction can be good and bad for fans , In this case I feel they are gonna win an entire new fanbase while keeping most of their loyal following.....A perfect 10/10
