Bai Bang - Are You Ready
Saturday, May 2, 2009
4/10 may confuse the potential listener, I hope that's not your idea, Michael.
A good pack of tracks can't be unrrated that way.
May be you disagree with the line of the album but that's not the truth of what is there.

I invite to everyone to listen this one. Is one of the best albums i've heard lately (plus Coldspell).

Sure that production is a little bit shabby but songs are straight and powerful, some kind of melodic touchs and with style.

Eden's Curse - The Second Coming

Tommy, don't forget 'Games People Play'... rocks!!!!

Marcello-Vestry - Marcello-Vestry
Thursday, July 10, 2008
Sounds good, fresh rock like early 90's. Sure like Danger Danger, or even Ted Poley. If you like the Robert 'Mutt' Lange sound production style (Def Leppard's 'Adrenalize', Brian Adams ' Waking up the...', etc...) this album won't fail you.

Frederiksen/Denander - Baptism By Fire
Thursday, July 10, 2008
Beautiful in every way, 'Keep A Light On' is pure Toto's 'Isolation' even in the chorus guitar riff. This one is at least 8,5/10.

FM - Indiscreet
Thursday, July 10, 2008
Too much keyboards only make it a kinda commercial AOR that doesn`t match with their talent. It's insipid and even when you listen to the rest of their discography looks like they're playing the same song. 5/10

Mennen - Planet Black
Wednesday, July 9, 2008
Of course as always somebody comes along outta tune. Maybe it's a kinda harsh review but it's only a opinion, indeed, looks like you're a Mennen member by the way you refute the review. I disagree in a lot of Alanna's reviews but, thanks to her and this web I have discovered greats bands and great music (so bad bands and bad music too, who knows, maybe Mennen is one of this) and I can't understand why you have to offend anybody, so take care that i'm gonna listen to this album as soon as possible to try to understand your anger and if it's really cool i'll tell it but if it sucks...Well, I'll send to Alanna a mountain of kisses hahaha

Overland - Break Away
Friday, July 4, 2008
I've never been a fan of Steve Overland but this album sounds fine, different... that kind of music that you need to listen to several times to discover the truth within.
To everyone: give this one a chance
'After the fire' and 'Heartache calling' are my favourite ones. I rate it 7/10

Asia - Phoenix
Friday, July 4, 2008
Sorry Alanna, but I don't agree with you. I'm a die-hard fan of Asia and yes, it sounds like 1982 self-titled debut but this one it's really insipid and has nothing remarkable.
Anyway, why don't you change the fromt cover showed??, it belongs to 'silent nation' album.

Axxis - Paradise in Flames
Tuesday, June 10, 2008
For me, the best Axxis album 8'5/10

Journey - Revelation
Tuesday, June 10, 2008
Good, but nothing new, I can't almost feel the difference between this and Arrival, at least are very similar to me in the first 7 tracks.I agree with you in the last songs of the album that approaches more to today's Journey style. One more thing: After all these years, instead his voice, I still miss Perry's writing collaboration. "Change for the better" is my favourite

PD. I'd take off "Faith in the heartland", I don't know what's doing there...
