In 2004
Pure Inc. released one of the best debut albums ever. The Swiss band has another two studio albums under their belt. Both albums were good but suffered to match the debut.
The same goes for "IV". It's a good album, but compared to the debut
Pure Inc. needs to write more catchy refrains. Musical wise all
Pure Inc. albums have been closely related and opener
Once Upon A Time is characteristic
Pure Inc. with Heavy razor sharp guitars and the trademark vocals of Gianni Pontillo vocals in-front.
Pure Inc. have all the ingredients to make it big especially a very solid guitarist, world class singer and a tight backing section.
Pure Inc. has written some great tunes for this record and
Blood Runs Black plus
F.U.C.K are great example that it is possible to combine aggressive playing with melody and choruses.
The best song is
To the Rhythm. It suits Pure inc. to break away from the dark approach and play a bright tune. The strongest of the darker tunes are the brilliant closer
Beyond the Universe.
"IV" is a mix of Hard Rock and aggressive modern rock with a twist of the grunge groove.
Sexells a funky tune with saxophone displaying the diversity of the band.
All in all a very good album. These guys have so much going for them that I just wish they would go back and listen to the catchy choruses of the "
Pure Inc." album and with that in mind write their next killer release.
