Buckcherry - All Night Long
Buckcherry achieved great success with their self titled debut album, which was released in a time when good time Rock N' Roll was a term of abuse. Two years later the follow up "Time Bomb" was released, but the sales numbers were low and in 2002 the original band broke up.

In 2005 Josh Todd and Keith Nelson decided to revive Buckcherry. The comeback was very successful since Buckcherry's comeback album "15" went platinum. Another studio album "Black Butterfly" and a live release have followed till now.

"All Night Long" is studio album number five and you might ask how come Buckcherry still enjoy great success? The answer is simple: Buckcherry plays unpretentious Hard Rock - songs about party and having a good time never goes out of style and especially not in times marked by financial crisis. This reincarnation of Buckcherry has a rocking rhythm section playing the perfect sidemen to Keith Nelson and vocalist Josh Todd, who sounds splendid throughout the entire album.

The mood for the album is set on album openers All Night Long and It's a Party - both typical Buckcherry rockers about partying and for sure future concert favorites.

The album is a strong unit with lots of highlights like the contemporary mid-tempo These Things, which has a splendid chorus. The power ballad  Want You has a haunting chorus. You could get fooled that Bliss is a ballad, but it transforms into a rocker. It build ups and progresses into a full blown rock song. Josh Todd's vocals drive Oh My Lord. The rhythm section is tight. Oh My Lord is just a great song - great songwriting. The album comes full circle since album closer Dead is a fast paced AC/DC rocker.

Buckcherry plays solid contemporary Hard Rock that goes well in both in big stadiums and in clubs. The no-frills music is build on the cornerstones of Rock N' Roll; 3-4 great chords played with energy and charm that would make both Aerosmith and AC/DC proud. Buckcherry sounds more inspired than on "Black Butterfly" and energy is the keyword that describes "All Night Long" best.

The album also comes in a deluxe version with 7 acoustic bonus tracks so hurry up and secure that version before it's gone.
