Mike Tramp - Recovering the wasted years
This is a great album.

What first stroke me were the guitars, which are not so dominating as in Mike's previous work. However the entire album's focus is on the songs itself. Really good songs that keep getting better and better.

The album opens with a Hammond organ, which starts the moody song "Falling Down". Perfect beginning of a journey, which takes the listener through the ups and downs in Mike Tramps career. Favorites are "Mr. Death", "All Up To You", "Darkness", "Follow Your Dreams" and "Don't Take My Rock īNīRoll (Kicks ass)". I have taken myself in humming "All Up To You" many times. "Darkness" is a very emotional ballad, which is the perfect "warm up" to the cool acoustic intro to my favorite "Follow Your Dreams". These 2 songs fit so well together. The album ends with the positive message "There's always tomorrow if nothing work's today".

This is a classic and timeless Rock album, which has the same high standards as White Lion, Freak of Nature and "Capricorn". I am very proud and happy to announce that Mike Tramp is back with a new great album and finally a tour to support "Recovering the Wasted Years" and his impressive back catalogue.
