Pink Cream 69 - In10sity
Pink Cream 69's new album brings along unbound energy and a creative flair that is as transparent as the colours on the front cover. We are talking Melodic Heavy Rock with lots of charisma.

Children Of The Dawn leaves no doubt that the band means business, electrifying guitar leads add fuel to a fierce fire of forceful fireworks...each instrument adding weight to a steadfast construction.

No Way Out is my favourite song of the album largely thanks to a chorus line with immense catchiness. Thrilling guitar soloing and an unstoppable drive makes this a real hit.

The short and laid back Desert Land cuts the album in two and sets the ground for Out Of This World to unfold a heavy and deep rhythm guitar attack. The dual chorus set-up adds extra punch and the mid-section break is a clear highlight and instantly harmonious.

Lyrically it's a two faced story, having both a critical view of the status of the world as well as positive vibes concerning self realising aspects in life, I think this duality works out quite well.

As a whole package In10sity seems stripped down to a raw core, It's Just A State Of Mind makes good sense to this picture with a guitar riff kept simple and ultra vigorous. A cool groovy bass melts nicely with the solid drumming and David Readman's rough voice is just perfect here.
As the title suggests Wanna Hear You Rock is another fine rock rocket, you can just sense the power coming from the guitars as they scream and burn in the heat, not an amazing track but really good.

As the final track they decided to sneak in a ballad with the cosy Last Train To Nowhere, I personally would have liked more of this stuff but I guess they wanted to make a statement and focus on hard hitting and guitar driven tracks.
Anyway this song has a warm acoustic guitar path, accompanied by melodic piano work and great sensitive vocals.

As lesser good songs Crossfire appears a bit monotone and The Hour Of Freedom is missing that something to lift it out of the "grey zone".
That said the musicians all deliver a fantastic effort that makes all songs worth intense listening. On top of that the production is powerful, clear and with a penetrating bass sound giving it a kick ass vibe.

It's got enough depth, detail and drive to stand tall as a very consistent and forceful disc.

Their best are the 3 first with andy on vocals, then they did some really bad albums but with Sonic dynamite they were back on track again.
