Crazy Lixx - Do or Die
After the article regarding the growing Swedish Glam and Sleaze scene I was contacted by a Swedish label stating Crazy Lixx was the next big thing and they set up a contact for me.

It is unbelievable how Sweden just squirts out great bands - Hardcore Superstar, Babylon Bombs, Crash Diet and Vains of Jenna etc. Crazy Lixx deserves a mention as a promising up-coming band.

Despite an early demo this single is the first release from Crazy Lixx, who formed in 2002. Crazy Lixx is a traditional Hard Rock band heavily inspired by bands of the 80's. Do Or Die is trip back to when music was fun and it wasn't a shame to write a great chorus. Singer Dirtchild Danny shows potential and the solo from guitarist Vic Zino is great. However, the production limits the band a bit - especially the guitars (great tone) could be more in your face.

The second song on the Single Death Row is an old demo song, which suffers a bit sound wise and with only one new studio song it is hard to generalize. However, consider this an appetizer! Personally I hunger for more Crazy Lixx songs

The future is looking bright for Crazy Lixx. The potential is obvious on this single, but a better production would really have suited the song.

Crazy Lixx actually got Chris Laney to mix their up-coming single, which is scheduled for mid January 2007. Laney is the one responsible for the pompous sound on Zan Clan "We are Zan Clan who the f**k are you??!".

The up-coming single Heroes are Forever, will be out on Swedmetal. Visit Crazy Lixx's on the World Wide Web for further information
