Lamb Of God - Ashes Of The Wake
Recipe: Roasted Lamb Of God

Ingredients needed: 3 Tablespoons of Messhuga Spice, 2 whole cups of Slayer Sauce, 1/2 cup of Fear Factory Liquid Smoke, 3 pounds of lean Lamb of God roasting meat.

How to make: Mix ingredients well and marinate the lamb of god roast for 3 days in your refrigerator.
Cook the roast slowly in a 666 degree oven for 1 hour and 6 minutes or until burnt beyond recognition.
Serve with Death Angel Potatoes and a nice "...and justice for all salad".
Grab a 12 pack of Exodus brand beer to wash that puppy down and finish with a big slab of Megadeth By Chocolate cake and that is the perfect all metal meal for the riffed starved masses!

Serves: Thousands!

Recipe taken from the monthly how to magazine "Dying" courtesy of Martin Stewart....."It's a damn good thing"

A cute review, but I'm a woman of substance. Revelation Z is known for the detalil. I agree with Rock Ninja. How about a rewrite David and tell us more.

I knew some folks would get it on this review and some would want more...even Steen the zine captain asked for more....but this was artwork for me this time and i was selfish in that I wanted the review to be like a Saturday Night Live skit or something....maybe like a Sunday cartoon that entertained as well as described or enlightened...to that end i think i achieved that and hopefully some people laughed and had fun with it and also got it that LOG are a thrash band firmly rooted in the early traditions of those bands mentioned in the "recipe".
I think there are plenty of 'normal' reviews of the album out there and as my very last review for RevZ i will leave it as is....thanks a ton for reading it and apologies to those who would have liked more!
If you liked any of LOG's previous albums you will not be disappointed in this one!

David,

I understand you and support your freedom of press:) Just more along with the above would have been nice. Best wishes and I'm sure you could always come back to write at Revelation Z anytime you want.

Doing your thing is cool, it's just that I would have loved seeing some more info and opinions in this review.

I haven't heard Lam of God yet, and natuarally I thought that this site will be the most informative and will let me know how do they sound like.
From your review I got that they are very Thrash-inspired, that's great:-)

anyway thanks for the review and keep doing our thing, this site is awesome.

great big production from Machine which makes all parts very clear and very fuckin' heavy. In my opinion not as good as Palace though but saying that it still shits on most things you'll here this year!
