The Funeral Pyre - My Final Autumn (Demo)
This demo comes to us from a band called The Funeral Pyre. I have very little info on them except for band members.
They are Alex Hernandez on drums, John Strachan on vocals, Adam Campbell on Bass, Jason Dunn on guitar, and Jimmy Joyce on Guitar.

They play what I could only term as Blackened Death metal. 3 songs and I am assuming self-produced. Really good production on this one. Tight songwriting and top notch playing abilities make it a very pleasurable listen. The right label will take these guys far and based on this demo I'm sure it won't be long before we see a full length album. So labels take note and seek these guys out!

Each song takes through several styles and tempo of metal. Plenty O' double bass drumming and some good ole' blast beats here and there as well as standard 4 count speed metal beats. The vocals are a black metal scream/screech similar to Kataklysm.

Tastes Of Black, U.S. Death, Melodeath, Thrash, Speed, and Technical Death are the inspiration points. Varied but cohesive and most of all, unrelenting brutality!

Excellent demo to say the least...look for them in the future.
