Other information Rhino Bucket, hailed as the "Last Real Rock Band" is back on the music scene with their no holds barred rock n' roll proving that good, loud music is here to stay!
The band is currently holed up in a studio recording new songs titled She Rides, Smile and Dead and Well for their upcoming album, and looking for a new record label. Rhino Bucket also recently had several tunes featured on the new CBS TV series "The Handler" and are also slated to have additional tunes featured on the soundtracks for the independent film "Rolling Kansas" and "Stateside".
Best known for their self-titled debut album and their sophomore effort Get Used To It, the band's music was prominently featured in the early nineties in both the hit movie "Wayne's World" as well as the multi-platinum soundtrack that accompanied it. Often compared to early Bon Scott era AC/DC, Rhino Bucket's raw, gritty sound has never sounded tighter and better with the new addition of Brian Forsythe, formerly of the band Kix, on lead guitar.
The band will be doing shows around the club circuit, including two shows in Honolulu, Hawaii. Rhino Bucket plans to film both Hawaii shows and release it on DVD format tentatively due later in the year. The disc, which will be available through the group's web site, will also include uncensored, behind-the-scenes footage of the band's mini Hawaiian vacation and adventures in paradise.
