Manowar - Live At Birmingham O2 Academy, March 27th 2011 Monday, April 4, 2011
What a great review, Stuart! I loved the intro, especially: "it looked like the chances of us seeing Manowar return to British shores were about as likely as Achilles resting until Hectors blood was spilled." Haha, brilliantly put!
It must have been a magical evening! The setlist looks great and it sounds like the performance was top notch as well!
Wish I'd been there, next time I will!
Celesty - Vendetta Tuesday, October 19, 2010
Hi Gizmo!
We try to review all albums, we recieve for reviews, but sometimes it happens that an album gets lost in the pile of incoming cds, and turns up much later. So is the case with Celesty's Vendetta. We will still try to review these albums in time.
Gamma Ray - Gamma Ray and special guests: Freedom Call - Live at Kulturbolaget, Malmö, Sweden - February 25th, 2010. Tuesday, May 4, 2010
Steen: Yeah, ít sure was!
Stuart: Yeah, I know! They are one of my favorite bands (hell, I'm even in the fan club), and I've just been in luck, as they were touring heavily in support of the first two albums, and have been playing a lot of festivals also. Funny thing is, I've never seen them play in Denmark!
Craig: Yes, Dan is still with the band, I found out. I guess you're right about the two shows in one night thing, would be pretty crazy hard for him! Oh, and yeah, in my oppinion they surely need to get a new live keyboarder.
W.A.S.P. - Live at Kulturbolaget, Malmö, Sweden - November 3rd, 2009. Tuesday, February 16, 2010 Hey Dennis! Nice to hear from you, and thanks for your kind words! I certainly hope to visit Wacken this year. That is the plan. I have yet to apply for a press pass, so I haven't bought a ticket yet, but I surely plan to be there! Wouldn't want to miss Maiden and the rest of the billing looks really strong as well! I hope to see you there, it would be nice to camp together! Will you be joining us at the Sweden Rock Festival this year?

Hello Darren!
Wow, a book on WASP sounds awesome! I would be proud to have my review quoted in your book. Unfortunately, I don't have any photos from the show, so permission granted, but please write, where you got the text (RevelationZ Magazine/Nina Hansen). Please tell me some more about the book, I'm very interested (title, when is it out, how did the project come about, etc.). If you want, emil me at nina@revelationz.net
Rock on! Nina
Various Artists - Nina's Albums Of The Year - 2009 Tuesday, January 26, 2010 Hey, thanks for the comments! Yeah, the Wolf album is amazing by any standard! Now I just need to get hold on their earlier albums ASAP!
Yep, it's a shame about Manowar! As you said, Stuart, I didn't really believe all the thighs they promised, but nevertheless, it makes me take them less serious, that they did promise them after all. Ohh, and Steen, you got to get the EP soon, it is great!
Hmm, I've heard the criticism of Jason Decay (the Cauldron singer) before, but I'm actually quite into his voice.it has a personal quality and fits the music perfectly IMO. I would also have liked to see the band live for just the atmosphere.
Hibria - The Skull Collectors Tuesday, December 22, 2009 Wow! Also just saw the video clip for Tiger Punch on youtube. This is great stuff, although a little bit of a Helloween-imitation. As you said, really great singer, though I'm not sure I agree on that he has the emotional depth of Daniel Heimann, but who has? He's still very good! Definitely have to check out the full album.
None - Staff Main Page Tuesday, December 8, 2009 Hi Sandra!

Europe - Last Look at Eden Monday, September 21, 2009
Wow, I just can't wait to get my greasy little hands on this album! I'm already in love with the titletrack. I am one of those people who just loved Start From The Dark and Secret Society. Europe in the new millennium just have a rougher, more dark edge, without sacrificing the melodies. A new version of 'Hero' sounds promising, it is one of my favorites among the newer songs.
Haha, never thought about the similarities between 'U Devil U' and that old Dizzy song, but I guess you´re right.!
Wolf - Ravenous Friday, September 18, 2009
Steen, I agree completely with your review!
This is my first meeting with the Swedes as well, and I just have to say this album is very addictive! The songs simply never get boring, and all tracks are great. This is old school Metal, time tested and true to form, but the wolfs even put their own footprint on the music, never appearing like a clone. It's impossible to choose one favourite, when all songs are this good, but the mesmerizing 'Voodoo', the dynamic opener 'Speed On' and the simply-yet-so-effective 'Love At First Bite' are strong points.
A sure buy for anyone into well-crafted, classic Metal!

Hi Stuart and Steen!
Yes, the Crashdïet album is amazing! A big "thank you Steen" is in order, as he gave me this as a present!
My Journey into Riot's music has just begun. I have only listened to Thundersteel and Fire Down Under so far...I will check out more albums soon. Seems like there's a lot of great albums, old and new, that begs for my attention those days.
Ohh, and you definitely have to check out the new Manowar! It is excellent!
Sweden Rock Festival 2009 - Day 4 (Stuart) - Riot, Immortal, Heaven And Hell Tuesday, July 21, 2009 Hey Stuart!
Very enjoyable report!
Cool to read about some bands I didn't know about.never heard about Witchcraft for instance, but that sounds pretty interesting! I also wanted to go see Portrait, but Flogging Molly got in the way of that plan.
The festival sure was a blast, and you covered that pretty well in your report!
Until the next year, keep that head banging!
Sweden Rock Festival 2009 - Steen's Festival Diary Sunday, June 21, 2009 Hey Steen!
Like the others said, great report, very entertaining and captivating! Hopefully I'll have mine up in a few days as well. Alanna: Europe only played Scream of Anger from the Wings...album. Ohh, and totally agree on Joey Tempest, hehe!
Rhapsody (of Fire) - Dawn of victory Monday, October 27, 2003 @ Thunderforce.
The lead violin player on this album is called Maggie Ardorf.

Various - Book Review - Sound of the Beast - The Complete Headbanging History of Heavy Metal Wednesday, September 17, 2003 I really want to read this book! This is something I've been missing for a long time: a serious book on the Heavy Metal culture, which are nor written to bash anything.
Nice job on the review!
