Stratovarius - Infinite
Wednesday, December 9, 2009
Stratovarius: It gets me 10 years back... I remember when I bought this album I was very curious about their next step after destiny,.

Indeed it was good. I would say, I prefer it than the very mediocre Destiny. Althought the band still keeps the same speed double bass style which is very predictable after a while, however I think Infinite has something more to offfer. The first two songs are fast but the sound of the keyboards makes it sound unique. Mother Gaia is nice and melodic while the chords of the Freedom is a pure copy of the Forever free from Visions. Celestial dream and Infinite are very good compositions also. In overall its an ok strato-album but for me the "Episode", "Visions", "4Tth Dimension" are the top while I love the "Dreamspace" and Tolkki's voice. Finnish singers have an amazing warmness in their voices...
