Other information
Raise Hell was formed in 1995 in Stockholm, Sweden. After a few changes of drummers, they found a stable line-up consisting of Jonas Nilsson (Vocals/guitar), Torstein Wickberg (guitar), Niklas Sjöström (bass) and Dennis Ekdahl (drums). With this line up, they made a demo consisting of some sort of melodic Death Metal under the band name In Cold Blood. After changing the name to Raise Hell, the young band recorded their debut full length, Holy Target, a lethal dose of Black/Death Metal with influences from Thrash but still having a strong sense of melody.

The next album, Not Dead Yet showcased a somewhat different sound where the Thrash elements became the main focus, but still elements from other styles such as Death, Punk and Rock could be found. Overall the style was more groovy and with more melody. The third album called Wicked Is My Game followed this path, but was a bit more on the aggressive side and showed improvement in songwriting. Raise Hell decided to change singer after this, but Jonas Nilsson stayed with the band as a guitarplayer. The new singer is called Jimmy Fjällendahl and is yet to be heard on the next Thrash assault! He delivered a blasting performance on the Wacken Open Air 2003 festival and his vocal style lies pretty close to Jonas Nilsson, luckily!
