Monday, June 18, 2007 - News from Sandalinas | Sandalinas have finished their new album "Fly to the sun". The new band features Mat Saint (bass), Alvaro Svanerö (drums), Jordi Sandalinas (guitars) and Rick Altzi (vocals). Mat Saint plays bass for Swedish band Dreamland, Alvaro Svanerö is also drumming for Loch Vostok and Rick Altzi is singing also for At Vance.
The new album features the following guest musicians: Derek Sherinian (Dream Theater), Chris Caffery (Savatage), Andy LaRocque (King Diamond), Mick Cervino and Patrick Johanson (both with Yngwie Malmsteen's Rising Force). "Fly to the sun" has been recorded and produced by Andy LaRocque and Los Angered Recording Studios in Sweden.

Friday, November 10, 2006 - News from Jordi Sandalinas | Jordi Sandalinas, guitarist for SANDALINAS (Living on the Edge - 2005 - Massacre Records) finished the recording of his debut acoustic solo album in Uppsala / Sweden at Loch Vostoch's Teddy Möller's, Blueflame Productions Studio. The album to be called INSIGHT features ten tracks: "Uncertainty", "Lost my Faith in You", "Living on the Edge", "Die Hard", "Battlefield Blues", "Father", "Why Still Sleeping", "My Self Incomplete", "River Inside" and "La Sang al Foc", sung in Català, the mother-tongue language of the Barcelona-born guitarist · Discuss this news further (0) |
Friday, October 17, 2003 - Sandalinas studio update | Sandalinas' first album is being produced and mixed by Andy LaRocque (King Diamond), engineered by Nicklas Rudolfsson and recorded at Los Angered Studios, Gothemburg (Sweden). Bands such as Falconer, Evergrey, Sword Master, Sacramentum y Lord Belial to name but a few have recorded their albums at LaRocque's studios. Sandalinas' singer and guitarist Jordi Sandalinas describes the style of the band as the new wave of melodic metal of the XXIst Century, with strong rhythms and great melodies. Sandalinas' album cover has been performed by Derek Riggs, illustrator for Iron Maiden, Stratovarious, Bruce Dickinson and Gamma Ray.
