Felony - Helltown Hotel
Eonian Records has once again digged out a gem from the vaults.

Felony dates back to 1989 and the album "Helltown Hotel" is a healthy dose of straight ahead Hard Rock. Felony has everything; crunchy guitars, thunderous bass and strong vocals

The strongest song is Heist in Helltown, which has an old school Motley Crue vibe. Singer Tommy Lee Lords sounds a bit like Vince Neil and bassist Shawn Nugent is very upfront like Mr. Sixx. This isn't any Glam record though - most songs from Felony are Heavy Rock.

If you liked Felony back in the day don't hesitate to buy this album with tasty packaging and great sound

Musically the band is tight but lacks some identity. The original members have remained close and are now discussion plans for a reunion plus recording new material. Exciting!

For all fans of Slaughter and Spread Eagle etc.
