Talks Cheap - Talks Cheap
Talks Cheap was formed in Seattle but the band took a wise career move when they headed south to sunny California and began playing the clubs in the early nineties.

The album opener Hey Little Girl is a treat for all Big Bang Babies, Queeny Blast Pop and Pretty Boy Floyd fans. No wonder Bassist Lesli Saunders later founded Queeny Blast and got his dream job playing in Pretty Boy Floyd. Vocalist Rikki Smith has a Steve Summers/Bret Michaels rasp and he is a great Glam singer

This 6 track CD is for all Glam fans. The songs are great but suffer a bit since it's a demo and lack the standout tunes to put them in same leagues as Pretty Boy Floyd etc. A song like Do Not Disturb is pretty primitive but that is also the charm. The album is full of piss and vinegar and the song title We are Kids made me look at the cover. THEY ARE KIDS.

The disc is officially licensed from Lesli Sanders as a Demon Dolls Records exclusive so if you are a Pretty Boy Boy Floyd, Big Bang Babies and Queeny Blast Pop fan you better get this gem quickly before it's sold out.
