Queeny Blast Pop - Queeny Blast Pop
THIS IS GLAM. Queeny Blast Pop is the real deal - just check out the artwork.

In the early nineties Queeny Blast Pop was an underground band.  Glam and Hair Metal were not cool but these Glamsters gladly put on their make up and sprayed their hair high in the sky.

This 2009 release is a mix of demos and live tunes from the early nineties. The sound quality is okay and worth spending money on if you are a fan. The music is stripped back equal back to basics Glam without big flashy guitars or beefed up production. This is not for all Poison or Pretty Boy Floyd fans since this batch of up-tempo tunes are more alike Big Bang Babies than the two aforementioned bands. Singer Punky Jean vocals dominate in the sound picture.

The 6 studio tracks are brilliant pure Glam tunes while the 2 live tracks suffer from poor sound quality. Something they Don't know is a fast punky version of Pretty Boy Floyd paired with 70's Glitter

The live recordings sound like a bootleg recording. With a playing time of only 25 minutes this is for fans only, but fans have also awaited Queeny Blast Pop releases in a good 15 years.

Bassist Lesli Sanders was once in one of the recent versions of Pretty Boy Floyd.
