Ronnie Borchert - Change
Ronnie Borchert is a well known name in Hard Rock circles. Ronnie Borchert is the man behind Amsterdam and Trixie, who enjoyed minor success. Both band emerged in the 90's but was build on the Hair Metal of the 80´s.

Lately Ronnie Borchert settled on producing including the critical acclaimed Miss Crazy, who also released albums on Ronnie Borchert's label Ronnieland Records.

The members of Miss Crazy help Ronnie out on his first solo album "Change". The album is a contemporary Rock record, but with lines back to Trixie mainly because Ronnie Borchert sings and plays guitar. The 12 songs do not question Borchert's ability as songwriter. His voice is a tad special and needs some adaption.

However, Borchert has tried to make an honest contemporary album, but it doesn't suit him. Borchert sounds best when he gets to rock in the Trixie/Def Leppard vein on songs like Feeling Love for You, Take me Away, Do You Love Me and a detour with the modern Something in My Head. Unfortunately the album is characterized by too many standard songs like the mellow My Malena plus the title track.

If you are into Trixie you should check this out, but give it a listen before purchase.
