Sixx: A.M. - Live is Beautiful
Sixx A:M "The Heroin Diaries" was honored by yours truly as best album of 2007. "The Heroin Diaries" was a great contemporary rock album and acted as the soundtrack to Nikki Sixx's book.

Sixx:A.M. has released an exclusive "Live Is Beautiful" EP containing seven live tracks recorded at Crue Fest. Sixx A:M actually works in concert since they sound pretty tight. The band plays well and trump card James Michaels sounds good live. On the studio record the track order took the listener through Sixx's addiction. Since the tracks aren't performed in order the live EP lacks the continuity of the studio album.

The "Heroin Diaries" still holds up and gets played regularly. "Live is Beautiful" is a great taster till we get another full album from Sixx A:M.

Best Buy has released "The Heroin Diaries" as a deluxe version comprised of the original album along with this live EP. So purchase that if you haven't picked up Sixx A:M's masterpiece.
