Last year
The Erotics released their amazing mini album "Rubbish". This was their first European release and unquestionably an ear-opener for yours truly.
The Erotics "Rubbish" was honored fifth best album of 2008.
Released in 2007 "30 Seconds over You" is the predecessor to "Rubbish" and it's even better. The sound, the songs, the vocals and the guitars are all maximized to 11.
The Erotics are the uncrowned kings of raw sleaze Rock.
Mike Trash is a great songwriter and maybe even better than the big names like Nikki Six etc.
The Erotics still have a raw underground street feel, which
Motley Crue lost several albums ago - listen to
Where the Action Never Stops as a great example of Trash's songwriting and ability to write a catchy chord progression.
"30 Seconds Over You" contains plenty of album highlights;
Don't Make me Make you is probably a live favorite. Once again the sound is fantastic with Trash's unique vocals up-front along with sleazy guitars. Mike Trash has got a perfect voice for this kind of music. The rasp in his voice equals attitude and he treats all a lesson in great rock vocals on
Ain't Your Fix.
Motorhead stole the line
Rock out with your Cock out for their latest "Motorizer" album. While Lemmy is a legend because of his image Mike Trash has so much charisma that he is in same league. The twin guitars and slide makes
Rock out raunchy.
It is simple - "30 Seconds over You" is a killer album.
The Erotics has taken their music to a new level. A must have for sleaze fans!
