Endeverafter - Kiss or Kill
80's cock rock in 2008? That's what the press say about Endeverafter and since the band also toured with Cinderella and Poison yours truly got interested.

Endeverafter is actually a contemporary rock band with great hooks. The band has great potential since "Kiss or Kill" has great production and damn catchy songs.

The best songs are Baby Baby Baby and Gotta Get Out, which builds bridge between AC/DC (The opening riff) and today (the modern verse).

The best song on "Kiss or Kill" is Poison. The song is brilliant constructed; starts with a hard pumped riff and slows down. The raw vocals from Michael Grant oozes fresh Rock N' Roll attitude saying "We are Endeverafter and we are gonna kick your ass"

The single Next Best Thing sounds like a hit. The first thing that came to my mind was Butch Walker, who ironically also sings backing on the song

Keep in mind that this is a debut! "Kiss or Kill" is hook laden wrapped up in a contemporary sound and arrangements. Michael Grant is the main man of Endeverafter since he wrote all songs and also handles vocals/lead guitar.

All the fuzz concerning this being an 80's rock band is hard to believe when hearing Slave with its staccato beat, which sounds more like My Chemical Romance than anything from the 80's.
It all comes down to the songs and if Endeverafter can continue to write high quality songs they have a bright future.
