Dirty Looks - Superdeluxe
Dirty Looks was formed in 1985 and landed a major deal with Atlantic Records, who released their debut "Cool From The Wire".

Especially "Cool from the Wire" - but also the follow up "Turn of the Screw" and "Five Easy Pieces" - are now cult classics. Dirty Looks released several albums on major labels, but disbanded around 1996.

In 2007 Dirty Looks returned to the scene and released the album "Gasoline".

The band already got the follow up in the can. "Superdeluxe" reunites the original line-up of Henrik Ostergaard (vocals/guitar), guitarist Paul Lidel, bassist Jack Pyers with the addition of Jeremy Hummel on drums.

Writing a review for "Superdeluxe" is an easy one, because this album is all about no frills, straight to the bone Rock N' Roll. It's performed with passion and the energy of a big machine just pumping out great chops and chords.

The sound is vintage Dirty Looks and the music is simple Hard Rock AC/DC style. The album is consistent. It's impossible to sit still to songs like A Million Miles and Fast Ride. Its honest Rock N' Roll performed with sparkle and enthusiasm.

Singer Henrik Ostergaard sounds at the top of his game with Thin Red Line as a lesson in Rock vocals. Guitarist Paul Lidell fires off great riffs and his thick Malcolm Young sound suits the music perfectly.

"Superdeluxe" contains several highlights with Dead Movie Star as the top song of the album

A very warm welcome back. Great record!
