Band Profile

What is your name and your current position in the band?

Jonas Budtz Møller - guitarist

How would you categorize the style of the band? And did you ever consider or try playing other styles of music than the one(s) you are playing now?

Hard Rock, no other styles

What is your latest album and why should people buy it?

Corpses and Buddies - our debut album. The hard rock scene in Denmark needs a new band to put hard rock back in focus !

Tell us about the history of the band. More specifically, when was the band formed, how did you meet, and have there been any particular highlights or low points in your career, any crucial events that have taken you where you are today?

2004, we have played in this constellation until now. In 2006 we won a price witch made in possibly to make a whole album.

Was there ever a time when you wondered if your band would remain just a local outfit and never make it in the industry?

We haven't made it to the top yet but we are working on it !

Can you share with us one or two of your favourite moments with the band?

Support for Pretty Maids ( Amager Bio, Horsens Ny Teater - lotsa' people )
Release of our debut-album

How is the writing process in the band?

Fx. We'll jam a riff and make the song as we jam along and in the end Jens fits in the lyrics.

What brought you on the path to becoming a musician? Did you ever consider or take any other paths through life besides music?

Listening to Led Zeppelin when I was about 7 years old. Guitar was no. 1 and school came in no. 2

Do you have any idols? If yes, who?

Led Zeppelin, Mastodon, Deftones, Tool, Placebo

Do you have any regrets looking back at your career? For example any songs or even full albums that you regret recording? If so, what made you regret it?

I regret playing some shitty shows but its all experience and that is useful.

Are there particular songs in your catalogue that the fans love but you're not particular fond of yourself?

I'll be a man, Patience.

How important do you rate the lyrical side of your albums?

I pay most attention to the melody but I do have focus on the point of the lyrics too.

What do you think about the state of the music industry today?

Too complicated and too many "Best Of" albums. If I could figure it out maybe we would have a record deal then.

What do you think is the best way to fight music piracy?

We don't mind if people download our music - we just want to be heard and play gigs.

Do you have a life philosophy? If yes, what is it?

No.

Can you describe a typical day in your life?

Go to work and when I'm off work I will meet up with the guys and rehearse.

What do you like to spend your time with besides music?

Hang with friends, play the guitar, concerts and going to a mad party now and then.

What's the craziest thing that has ever happened on a tour?

Our drummer ( Steffen ) took a picture of his dump and edited the picture so it would look happy with hearts and stars hovering around ! You should have been there to understand the madness.

You're heading off to live on a deserted island for a couple of years with your portable entertainment system... Which albums, movies or books would you bring? (Max. 3 of each)

Music:
Mastodon - Blood Mountain, Led Zeppelin - 2 , Placebo - Black Market Music

Movies:
Alien 1 , Reservoir Dogs, Nightmare Before Christmas

Books:
Queens Of The Stone Age biography, Dean R. Koontz: Midnight, Phantoms

What is your favourite joke?

They're all too dirty!

Can you tell us about any future plans for you and your band?

Get a record deal, make more music and rock every venue in the world.

Thanks for answering these questions. Now you are free to write a few lines to our readers.

If you need to be rocked, buy our debut album Corpses And Buddies - it will be our pleasure to be bursting out your speakers!
