Heaven and Hell - Live From Radio City Music Hall
I was not too impressed with Heaven And Hell's performance at this years Sweden Rock festival. When the band announced they chose to immortalize a performance from Radio City Music Hall the excitement was restricted.

The old geezers proved I was wrong - a song like Lady Evil sounds better than ever. The weak point of Heaven and Hell is unquestionably the "Dehumanizer" material. However, the band deserves credit since I is one of the highlights of this concert.

Dio is grateful for the reception of the band. Despite Dio being an elderly man his voice still sounds very good and he is one of the most remarkable singers in Rock.

The band also airs two new songs, which sounds promising. Both Shadow of the Wind and The Devil Cried are typical doomy Black Sabbath. Both songs are permeated by Tony Iommi´s trademarks. Iommi´s riffs still sound crushing and his playing is sharp and precise.

Heaven and Hell are scheduled to release a full blown studio album in 2008. This news has got me excited based on this excellent live album. This is a safe buy!

I didn't listen to this live album, however I'm here to talk about the original "The Devil You Know".
Well I believe this album should be released in 94 or 95, just after Dehumanizer.
The look and feel of TDYK is, of course, dark as this band should sound.
Mr. Iommy is inspired on Fear or Bible Black and Mr. Dio still possesses his own unique vocal feeling.

Even older this four gentleman still have something to give.

When I was listening TDYK, I asked myself what will happen when Sabbath, Priest, Maiden, Megadeth or Metallica disappear?
I never was a nostalgic kind of guy, but it's true..We're watching the last releases of the true classic Heavy Metal Heroes...

I know this album doesn't bring anything new...But it's so dam good the hear Dio, Tony, Geezer and Vinnie...

7.5/10
