Behind the name
Tarsha hides a one man band. Sheldon
Tarsha got a foretaste of rock star life when he fronted the last version of Adler's Appetite before Steven Adler finally lost his mind.

Tarsha is a talented cat. He has written all songs and furthermore he has performed, engineered and produced the whole album. The album has a great modern sound mainly because of the heavy guitar sound and pompous programmed drums.
The album is very diverse and "Prophecies" is not an easy album to get into. The album opens with the catchiest song
Dirty, which is a straight ahead rock song that delivers the goods from first listen. However, this album ages great like fine wine. After several spins the album blossoms with lots of facets.

Tarsha's strong voice is the foundation of the music. His voice is great for Rock, since its powerful but with rasp and edge. The highlights of "Prophecies" are:
The beautiful
Ten Stars away where
Tarsha's voice seduces the listener. The mixture of acoustic guitar and modern electric guitars provides the song with a special emotion.
The best rockers are
My first hit and the excellent
Why Fight, which also is a unique vocal performance.
Skeletons has the best emotional verse on the whole disc and several cool musical pieces, but the chorus is a bit weak.
"Prophecies" is a modern Hard Rock album. It's very rare that a debut album moves in so many directions as "Prophecies", which also makes it hard to approach.
Tarsha is a great songwriter and certainly knows how to write catchy stuff -exemplified on the chorus to
Let You Go- what makes the album inaccessible is the change in tempos. However, if you are a bit patient this album has lots to offer.
Tarsha is a very welcomed debutant to the scene and with his strong voice I foretell him a great future in Rock.
Since this album is diverse it won't plead to the commercial fan. I am a bit worried if the album will get lost since it doesn't have mass appeal. I do hope I am wrong because it deserves a listen
