Band profile
 What is your name and your current position in the band?
Maurice, the singer of legion of the damned
Tell us about the history of the band. More specifically, when was the band formed, how did you meet, and have there been any particular highlights or low points in your career, any crucial events that have taken you where you are today?
The band has no rich history at all, this is our first album, but we did some band(s) before, which is not worth mentioning I guess ;-)
Was there ever a time when you wondered if your band would remain just a local outfit and never make it in the industry?
I never thought about that, and I would not care, if we would remain locally, and play for the same people over and over again I definitely would stop the band
What is your latest album and why should people buy it?
"Malevolent rapture", people should buy it because its one straight kick in your FACE!!!!!
How would you categorize the style of the band? And did you ever consider or try playing other styles of music than the one(s) you are playing now?
People give it different names, they compare my vocals with Abbath of Immortal, which maybe brings us to Black/Thrash? Others say we are just thrash and some say we are death/thrash, its up to everyone else to call us whatever they like, as long as they enjoy our music
Can you share with us one or two of your favourite moments with the band?
My favourite moments are always in studio, we have so much fun, going out for dinner, playing some games, having serious discussions and always accompanied with beers ;-)
How is the writing process in the band?
Everybody is involved more or less, so it's a thing of us all, not just by one person.
What brought you on the path to becoming a musician? Did you ever consider or take any other paths through life besides music?
It just happened I guess.
Do you have any idols? If yes, who?
As for singers, I like Dead's (RIP) voice (Mayhem)
Do you have any regrets looking back at your career? For example any songs or even full albums that you regret recording? If so, what made you regret it?
I have no regrets AT ALL
Are there particular songs in your catalogue that the fans love but you're not particular fond of yourself?
I can be short of that: no!
How important do you rate the lyrical side of your albums?
They are important, but main importance is the music
What do you think about the state of the music industry today?
There is a lot of competition going on, and its not anymore about the music, but about the money
What do you think is the best way to fight music piracy?
I have really no idea, if I knew I would be a millionaire ;-)
Do you have a life philosophy? If yes, what is it?
Enjoy your day the fullest because it can be your last one!
Can you describe a typical day in your life?
I am running my own music video production company Lowlifemedia, so my day consists of working everyday behind computers!
What do you like to spend your time with besides music?
Working, filming and computers, hangng out with friends, and having some beers with them to relax
What's the craziest thing that has ever happened on a tour?
We will tell you one our first tour comes up in April for LOTD
You're heading off to live on a deserted island for a couple of years with your portable entertainment system... Which albums, movies or books would you bring? (Max. 3 of each)
I would bring no books, why reading on such beautiful island?! And if I am alone there and no girls are there I definitely would bring some porn movies hehe ;-) as for music, Slayer Reign in blood, first Pestilence and Mayhem De mysteriis dom sathanas.
What is your favourite joke?
Pfff..its 9 in the morning now, just got up, I really can't think of any right now
Can you tell us about any future plans for you and your band?
We will do some summer festivals, a tour in april and a next album will be recorded in October this year

Enuff Z'nuff - Strength
