Logan's Heroes - Logan´s Heroes
Logan's Heroes is named after songwriter Logan Raskin, who also sings lead vocals. Logan's Heroes also features Vik Foxx and guitar virtuoso Derek Frigo (RIP) of Enuff Z'Nuff fame.

The music is modern rock, but heavily influenced by 70's punk bands like Iggy Pop and Ramones. The music has many redeeming melodic elements and therefore it has potential to reach a wide audience. Using a metaphor from the animal life - the music isn't a wild untamed Pit-bull but more of a house-trained bulldog so to speak.

Voices opens the mini album with a fresh sound and Logan's voice very upfront in the mix. Logan Raskin's voice is very characteristic and I think a lot have to tolerate his special voice to fully enjoy Logan's Heroes.

The album is characteristic by being a demo since the sound levels is not adjusted from song to song. However, the quality of the music outshines the lack of mixing. The melodic Be the One and album highlights I've Been Around plus Keeping me Down are all ultra melodic Rock songs with punky attitude. Logan's Heroes follows the Punk traditions with lack of guitar solos, which I think is a shame since they have the amazing guitarist Derek Frigo onboard. There is some guitar fiddling at the end of Be the One, but in general the song-approach is more vocal oriented.

All songs are really great on this debut. It's very obvious that Logan's Heroes got potential and that is probably the aim of this first mini album, to sparkle interest among media and labels. Highly recommendable.
