Tuesday, June 22, 2004 - Stratovarius replace Running Wild at the Gates of Metal festival | Stratovarius will replace Running Wild at the Gates of Metal festival. The Finnish Power Metal band have oddly enough decided to play at the festival, though their future is still uncertain. After numourous troubles, singer Timo Kotipelto and drummer Jörg Michael left Stratovarius, and the band has been in a severe crisis for a long period. The band still has some shows to play, which were booked before the departure of the two members, and now they add this festival to what may be the last shows, featuring the line up, they have kept for years untill now.
