Friday, February 7, 2003 - Metallica news | Metallica's new album will be entitled St. Anger and a date for 10 June is set. James Hetfield comments:
"For us, this new album is like re-visiting early innocent feelings but incorporating our experience. It is like starting over in a way... this album is so chock full of energy, and lyrically, it is deeper than it's ever been because it is involving all the other guys."
The bass parts on the album have been played by producer Bob Rock. No name for a full time bassist has been announced yet. The band hits the road this summer in both USA and Europe.
