Add to the vocal overcompression the too-liberal use of echo and doubling. Actually sounds more like the vocal is just too loud in the mix, and actually not compressed or lowered in level enough.

Never heard of-em. Listening to "It all ends here" right now. Nice use of stop-time. I.e. its not all chugging/death kick drum the whole time. The acoustic gtr & organ breakdowns suggest Opeth?
