The Khymera project started on 2003 as a collaboration of me with Steve Walsh, then rised up to a real band featuring Me, Dario Ciccioni on drums, Tommy Ermolli at the guitars and Dennis Wards al lead and backing vocals.

Was there ever a time when you wondered if your band would remain just a local outfit and never make it in the industry?

I never really cared about that, I'm more into the artistic part of the thing.

What is your latest album and why should people buy it?

Khymera/A new promise. It's very melodic and catchy!

How would you categorize the style of the band? And did you ever consider or try playing other styles of music than the one(s) you are playing now?

Khymera is AOR melodic rock, and yes! I play other styles on other bands/projects. Metal and prog metal.

The recording of the album was great, and of course the rehearsals and the concerts.

How is the writing process in the band?

Mainly we get help from external songwriters for this Khymera line up.

What brought you on the path to becoming a musician? Did you ever consider or take any other paths through life besides music?

I always love music, anyway I also work as a software developer, this helps me a lot also to keep me

Do you have any idols? If yes, who?

I had in the past, one of them was Angus Young of Ac/Dc.

I don't have, I always did what I wanted to do in my albums.

Are there particular songs in your catalogue that the fans love but you're not particular fond of yourself?

I wrote so many songs, I actually don't now really...

It's a very difficult moment, and a very hard world to live in, I hope someday it becomes better, but anyway I feel lucky for the personal goals I reached....

What do you think is the best way to fight music piracy?

I think it's impossible to fight it, it has come to a huge level today. Alternative solutions to sell music

Live and let live, and be creative and positive.

Wake up and music, then go to bed!
