Friday, December 12, 2003 - Ozzy Osbourne concert cancelled | Ozzy Osbourne's concert in Valbyhallen January 20th will be cancelled due to his recent quad bike accident. Here are the latest news from Blabbermouth:
Ozzy Osbourne was brought back to life by a security guard following his quad bike accident, his wife Sharon revealed last night, according to The Sun.
Ozzy, 55, had stopped breathing for a minute and a half before his minder revived him.
Sharon, 51, said: "He has got such horrendous injuries to his body. His whole body is traumatized. But thank God the security guard was there to revive him.
"He resuscitated him and got him breathing and his pulse going again. We are so, so grateful to him."
The former BLACK SABBATH frontman suffered a cracked vertebra in his neck and eight broken ribs when the quad bike toppled on top of him at his Buckinghamshire mansion on Monday.
He remains in intensive care at Wexham Park Hospital in Slough, Berks, where he is heavily sedated and on a ventilator.

Wednesday, October 15, 2003 - Ozzy Osbourne postpones European tour (again) | Ozzy Osbourne has been forced to postpone a six-week string of European tour dates (Denmark included) set to begin next week due to side effects of medication he was taking to control a tremor. The dates are expected to be made up early next year.
In a statement Ozzy said his worsening tremor was "practically destroying my life along with my self-esteem." He also expressed gratitude to his doctor and said he was glad to be home with his family, recovering.
"I feel like I keep letting you all down, which breaks my heart," his statement continued, "but you have my word that I will be over in the new year to complete my European tour." · Discuss this news further (0) |
