Tesla have confirmed their first world tour in 16 years as they plan to hit Europe, Japan and Australia in October/November. Dates in support of their new covers album, Real To Reel, are as follows:

Tuesday, June 5, 2007 - New Tesla video
Tesla's video for its cover of Led Zeppelin's "Thank You" has been posted at YouTube. The song is the first single off Tesla's covers album, "Real to Reel", which is being released today on the band's Tesla Electric Company Recordings.

Friday, October 8, 2004 - Tesla guitarist Tommy Skeoch returns
News from the Tesla camp:

We are very happy to announce that (guitarist) Tommy Skeoch is doing very well and will be rejoining us for the Scorpions/Tesla tour, beginning October 21st.
We would like to thank all of our fans for their tremendous show of support during the last few months. We'd also like to extend a special thanks to Scott Johnson for filling in during Tommy's absence."

Since mid-July Tommy Skeoch has been away from the band to be treated for addiction.

Thursday, July 15, 2004 - Tesla's Tommy Skeoch in treatment
The members of Tesla have issued the following statement:

"Our friend, brother and band mate Tommy Skeoch is taking some time off from the band to seek treatment for addiction, an illness that cannot be defeated without help. We hope you will all join us in wishing him a very healthy recovery so that he is able to return to the band.

For Tesla's upcoming shows Scott Johnson will be playing guitar in Tommy Skeoch's absence "

Sunday, February 1, 2004 - Tesla Tour dates announced
Tesla will be supporting the release of their new album Into The Now, due out March 9. The band just published first leg of their US club/theatre tour, which starts March 12 in Minneapolis. Check out Tour dates here.
