Sieges Even have issued the following statement:

"Due to internal differences the band decided to split up. Thanks to everybody who helped the band over the years. Arno Menses (vocals) and Markus Steffen (guitar) will pursue their new band Subsignal. Alex Holzwarth (drums) and Oliver Holzwarth (bass) will pursue their new projects. The Sieges Even autumn tour is canceled."

Friday, May 16, 2008 - Sieges even to release live album
News from Sieges Even:

Sieges Even will release the first live album in their career.

The CD will be entitled Playgrounds, containing ten songs from the albums A Sense Of Change, The Art Of Navigating By The Stars and Paramount.

Recorded during Part I of the Paramount tour 2007/08, Playgrounds will hit the stores by the end of July via Inside Out Music.

Release dates:

Germany/Austria/Switzerland (July 25th, 2008)
Europe (July 28th, 2008)
North America (July 29th, 2008)

Monday, June 18, 2007 - Sieges Even album news
Sieges Even will release their new album, "Paramount", in North America on October 10 via Inside Out Music. The European CD will arrive in late September. Check out the cover artwork at this location. The photo was taken by British artist David J. Nightingale, while Thomas Ewerhard was responsible for the actual cover design.

Sunday, June 12, 2005 - Sieges Even news
Sieges Even have finished recording their new album, "The Art of Navigating by the Stars", at the Black Solaris Studio in Frankfurt with producer Uwe Lulis. The mixing and mastering will be completed by the end of the month.

"The Art of Navigating by the Stars" will contain only one track with a running time of 45-50 minutes. The song will be split into several movements that will be interlinked by certain musical themes.

Here is the tracklisting track listing:

03. Unbreakable
04. Stigmata
05. Blue Wide Open
06. To The Ones Who Have Failed
07. Lighthouse
08. Styx

A September release through an as-yet-undetermined label is expected.

Thursday, December 18, 2003 - Sieges Even are back!
Sieges Even are finally back! Oliver Holzwarth (Bass), Alex Holzwarth (Drums), Markus Steffen (Guitars) and singer Arno Menses have decided to bring the band to new life. The band will hit the studio sometime during Spring/early Summer 2004 to record their new studio album. The CD will be entitled "The Art of navigating by the stars", containing only one track with a length of 45 to 50 minutes.

Sieges Even will be celebrating their return to the stages of prog on April 3rd & 4th at the Headway Festival, Amstelveen, The Netherlands. Sieges Even will be the headliner on Sunday, playing a full show of one and a half hours length. Keep an eye on the official Sieges Even website for more news.
