Tuesday, May 19, 2009 - HAIL! - Scandinavian Shows Announced | Hot on the heels of their recent shows in Turkey, Greece and Austria, metal supergroup HAIL! - the new all-star project featuring guitarist Andreas Kisser, vocalist Tim "Ripper" Owens, drummer Jimmy DeGrasso and bassist David Ellefson has confirmed the first dates of its much-anticipated Scandinavian tour this September. They are as follows:
Sep. 04 - Luftslottet, Grimstad, Norway Sep. 05 - Glassheim, Jevnaker, Norway Sep. 07 - The Rock, Copenhagen, Denmark Sep. 08 - Voxhall, Aarhus, Denmark
Ellefson beamed: "The Scandinavian fans have always been tremendous to all of us and it is with great pride that we return to say hello to these hardcore maniacs. We will be touring for two full weeks and it remains our intention to play as many smaller cities as we can. It looks like we have more dates and we'll announce the rest of them very shortly, but in the meantime we wanted to let everybody know we are coming and we can't wait to see you all real soon." The members of HAIL! have some special treats up their sleeves, as several high-profile guests are expected to join the band onstage.
"This is going to be great!" said Ripper. "The world of metal has always been a tribe and HAIL! has provided a wonderful opportunity to unite that tribe. We've received offers to play all over the world, in some really unbelievable places that have never even had a concert before, and it makes me feel really good to know that people are so supportive of what we're doing. We're really looking forward to this."
