Now Playing: Blind Guardian - At The Edge Of Time
Ohh, yes! After two slightly disappointing albums, At The Edge Of Time comes like a miracle sent straight from the golden halls of Valhalla. Symphonic (the band used a huge orchestra on several tracks), heavy and fast, the album sees Blind Guardian returning to some of the trademarks, that made them so beloved, while still maintaining the never ending evolution and quest for new musical adventures that is the band's signature. Thus delivering an album that is both innovative and still sounds classic Blind Guardian. Sacred Worlds, in its symphonic glory, the melancholic, Nighfall In Middle Earth-ish Tanelorn and closing epic Wheel Of Time are some of the highlights. An album that keeps growing and takes a little time to fully sink in.
