Comment by Mads (Anonymous) - Tuesday, December 10, 2002 | IN FLAMES what a great band thanks for showing me the way... now it is your turn to listen to some of my music... wait just one minute you are listning to alot of that... try some King Diamond you'll like it you just have to get use to the vocals... sounds familiar somehow... hey that was what you told me about In Flames or Death/Black Metal |
Comment by Anders (Anonymous) - Thursday, October 17, 2002 | LOL .. the never-ending vocal discussion! Yes, In Flames is an excellent band, and there are countless other great bands in the same (or almost the same) genre. Be sure to check out "At The Gates", "Dark Tranquility" and "The Haunted".
I know I have a bit of catching up to do with "the king", and I think the concert in Aarhus last year was great.
Btw. I am listening to Pain Of Salvation - Chain Sling right now. What an excellent song! |
Comment by Mads (Anonymous) - Thursday, September 12, 2002 | Pain Of Salvation "Remedy Lane" is my album of the year |
Comment by bupp2 (Anonymous) - Monday, February 17, 2003 | Must tips about a band that sounds exactly like a mix with Soilwork and In Flames... that's The Duskfall. Also swedish ^^ |

Comment by Rayman (Anonymous) - Friday, December 26, 2003 | Ephel Duath and Farmakon, off Elitist are a couple of excellent records, that probably match your taste. Ephel Duath is jazzy progressive black metal, and Farmakon is a something of an Opeth ripoff. Both are very technical, lets say on the level of Cynic. |
Comment by Benny (Anonymous) - Thursday, June 3, 2004 | Nice lists. I like, that psyched up janis is participating on the lists. Withering Surface....aren't they from the southern part of Denmark. I have a feeling that i've heart them in "NygadeHuset" in Aabenraa. I stepped by at a friend near by "NygadeHuset" a year ago, and i from his appartment i could hear the music, and I went over there to take a look, and I think the leadsinger said, that they were from Aabenraa...(??)
Oh, dont leave me cold by dying flame.... |
