Thursday, May 12, 2005 - Edguy news | Edguy is hard at work on their forthcoming EP, Superheroes, which is scheduled for a September release through Nuclear Blast. They are currently at Gate Studios in Wolfsburg, Germany with producer Sascha Paeth.
Here is what Tobias Sammet has to say:
"Working with Sascha is incredibly refreshing. The new shit kicks ass, sounds cheeky at times but always fresh. An up to date production, still pompous and big. On the EP there will be five songs, one is gonna be an overlong up-tempo epic track, which we are maybe gonna invite some of my Avantasia-buddies for to share some vocals with me. This would suit this song so damn well, so it's a must. That being said: we won't need to hype it as an all-star super project, there have been much too many already anyway. And I think the stuff is strong enough to speak for itself." |
