Monday, April 11, 2005 - Chris Caffery News | Paul LaPlaca, former frontman for Brooklyn's October Thorns has joined Chris Caffery's live band for several international dates in support of Caffery's solo debut. Caffery is well known for his work with Savatage, Trans-Siberian Orchestra and Dr. Butcher. Performances include BB King's in NYC and the BW&BK Festival in Cleveland with more dates to be announced. LaPlaca will be performing backing guitar, vocals and keys for the band.
Paul is also currently working with other former Thorns bandmates Jofu (drumming with Zandelle) and Dave Z (Bass-ZO2, Trans-Siberian Orchestra and Joan Jett). He is handling co-lead guitar and backing vocals for Zandelle who recently finished tracks for their second CD on LMP Records and he played keys for ZO2 in the opening slot on the KISS / Poison 2004 US Tour.
