"Volbeat have been selected to compete in the preliminary rounds of Live Contest DK 04 (former DM i rock). Volbeat was one of 85 bands from among 400 applicants, that were chosen for the contest. The band will play at Stengade 30, Copenhagen (DK) on the 25th of March with 5 other bands of different musical categories, that span from RnB to melodic rock. We hope that you, the fans, will participate in making Volbeat serious contenders for the win on this night. Show up and support your favorite band, then they might go all the way.
Michael (frontman) was asked to participate in a newshow by Danish TV-station TV2, recently, but the offer was turned down, as the station would not pay a reasonable fee for his apperance. Fuckin cheapskates!" |
